The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Office of Controller of Examination would briefly update about the AMU School Admissions Test 2018 for the Classes Ist, VIth & IXth. AMU Controller of Examination has dispatched the Admission notice for AMU School Admission Tests 2018 & likely to invite the Applications from the willing candidates for Admissions to Aligarh Muslim Schools for the academic year 2018-19. For Admissions to AMU Schools Classes 1^st,6^th & 9^th the Applications forms are going to be invited shortly.

The Office of Controller of Examination, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for providing Admissions to the classes First, Sixth & Ninth in the several Boys & Girls Schools to the candidates is going to invite the Online Applications from the eligible aspirants for admissions to various AMU Schools through School Admission Test 2018. The enthusiastic candidates by ensuring the required Eligibility should submit Application forms on or before the End date (2^nd Week of Feb 2018) at the website portal of the board.

AMU School Class-VI & IX Admissions Form 2018-19

The AMU Admission Test 2018 will be conducted for providing admission to the AMU Schools (Boys/ Girls) in the First, Sixth & Ninth Classes for the session 2018-19. However Admissions to AMU Schools Classes 6^th & 9^th will be based on the AMU School Admissions Test along with the Interview & through Counseling Admission seats will be distributed among the Aligarh Muslim University Schools.

The AMU School Admission Tests for admissions to Classes 1^st, 6^th & 9^th candidates will have to fill the Application Form ONLINE, i.e. the candidates have to fill the Application Form directly on the website portal of the Office of COE and then take a print-out. Here we are anticipating the direct link for Application form 2018.

AMU School Test 2018 Class-1-6-9 Eligibility

The required Eligibility for the AMU School Admission Test Application form is as stated hereunder. Here we are providing the detailed Class 1^st/ 6^th/ 9^th wise eligibility is mentioned in under stated table. (**Candidates awaiting result of qualifying examination may also apply for admission with the clear stipulation that in the event of their selection they will be entitled to admission only if they fulfill all eligibility requirements of concerned class at the time of admission).

	Eligibility	Test Paper Scheme	Selection Process
Class 1^st	The candidates must be of the age between 5 to 7 years as on March 31, 2018.	The Written Test shall comprise 25 subjective/ objective type questions on English, Arithmetic, Urdu and GK.	Through The Admission Test. The Total Merit will have the following components: (a) Written Test : 100 Marks (b) Interview : 25 Marks For the candidates who qualify written test, shall get 40% marks in the Interview is essential to become eligible for selection.
Class 6^th	Passed Class V from a School which is registered and recognized by a competent government authority. Age between 10 to 12 years as on March 31, 2018.	The Written Test shall comprise two sections: Section-I: 30 Objective type questions of one mark each on Languages (English, Urdu and Hindi) Section-II: 70 questions of MCQ based & carrying 1 mark each: 1. Mathematics: 35 marks 2. Science : 35 marks Note: It is essential to get minimum of 40% marks in Section-I in the written test to be eligible for interview/ admission
Class 9^th	Passed Class VIII from a School which is registered and recognized. The candidates must be of the age between 13 to 15 years as on March 31, 2018

The Admission Test 2018 Admit cards will be downloadable from COE website from one week before the Admission Test date.

AMU School Admission Test Result/ Counseling: 2018

The qualified candidates will be informed regarding their short listing for Interview or Counselling. The lists of candidates short listed for Interview and the lists of those called for counselling will be displayed on the Notice Boards of the concerned School / Controller’s Office Website. The dates notified for Interview/ Counselling / Admission shall strictly be followed. It is the responsibility of the candidate to keep himself / herself informed from Notice Board(s)/ website. The rank of the candidate for counselling shall be determined through the combined merit of Admission Test and Interview. Candidates shall be allotted a school through counselling only.

Candidates should report in person along with the Parent/Guardian at the time of Counseling/Admission.

Original Marks Sheet of Class V / VIII (for Admission to Class VI / IX as the case may be) passed from a recognized School

Date of Birth Certificate in Original issued from the Municipal corporation / competent authority / school last attended / copy of passport (As the case may be)

Transfer certificate in Original, issued from the School last attended by the candidate (Countersigned by a competent Authority, if applicable after completion of Admission.

Two self- Addressed Envelops with postal stamp of Rs 40/.
