University of Delhi (Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicine) has made out the Admission Notification for BAMS/ BUMS Admissions 2017-18. Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicine (FMSC) has advertised the detailed Admission notification for Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) & Kamil-e- Tibb-o-Jarahat (BUMS) 5½ Year Course at A & U Tibbia College, New Delhi & invites the Applications from Eligible candidates upto November 2017.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the University portal/ Below given link for Application form. For Admissions to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) the detailed info consisting Eligibility/ Application form/ Admission Process/ Application Fee/ Seat Distribution/ Merit lists etc are given hereunder.

The Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Joint Registrar, Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicines, 6th floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi -110007.

Admission Process:

Admissions to the Eligible candidates for the Courses BAMS & BUMS (5½ Years) for the academic year 2017-18 will be provided on the basis of Merit list. Candidates’ Percentage of Marks would be counted for Merit. On the available seats in the courses would be provided to the Merit listed candidates through Document verification, Payment of admission fee through counseling.

Application Form may also be downloaded from websites du.ac.in & fmsc.ac.in and submit the same, duly filled in and complete in all respects with requisite Demand Draft, to the office of the Joint Registrar, Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicine, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 on or before Nov 2017.

The Application Form can also be obtained, by hand against Demand Draft from the office of the Principal, A&U Tibbia College, Karol Bagh, New Delhi.

Application Fee:

By Hand against a crossed M.I.C.R. Demand Draft only drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi for 750/-

For General/OBC Categories : RS 750/-

For SC/ST/PWD Categories: RS 550/-

Application fee can be paid upto (Monday) on all working days (Monday to Friday).

University of Delhi BAMS/ BUMS Eligibility Conditions:

FOR 85% DELHI QUOTA SEATS
AYURVEDACHARYA (BAMS):	The candidates seeking admission to BAMS Course must have passed Intermediate/Senior School Certificate Examination (C.B.S.E.)/Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years course) with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English or any other equivalent with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed English from the recognised school situated within the NCT of Delhi only	Age Limit: He/ She must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on 31st October 2017
KAMIL-E-TIBB-O-JARAHAT (BUMS)	The candidates seeking admission to BUMS Course must have passed Intermediate/Senior School Certificate Examination (C.B.S.E.) (12 year course)/Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years course) or any other equivalent recognised examination thereto with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed one language except S.U.P.W. from the recognised school situated within the NCT of Delhi only
	Note: While deciding the merit the marks obtained in the English or language will not be taken into consideration
FOR 15% ALL INDIA QUATA: AYURVEDACHARYA (BAMS) & KAMIL-E-TIBB-O-JARAHAT (BUMS): The candidates must have passed the prescribed qualifying examination from a recognised Indian University/Boards conducting regular classes from a recognised School (except Patrachar & Open School) Ref: Clau
