AP SET Results 2017, Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test Cut Off Marks/Merit List:
AP State Eligibility Test (APSET) Result 2017: The Andhra University has announced the notification in subject to APSET 2017 Result. Andhra University post conducting the APSET on 30th July 2017 for recruitment and promotions of Lectures/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges as per UGC Regulations is all set to declare the APSET 2017 Result at the APSET website portal.
- There are 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided and unaided degree colleges in bifurcated Andhra Pradesh

The results will be processed as per the UGC new guidelines.
Earlier APSET Entrance Test was organized on specified 30TH July 2017 by the Andhra University for the approved 31 Subjects including Archeology, Anthropology, Commerce, History, Hindi, English Geology, Mathematics, Geography, Pol Science & others for recruitment and promotions of Lectures/Assistant Professors in Universities and Degree colleges. As per notice the Result is likely to be out & on the basis of SET Subject wise Cut off Marks candidates will be shortlisted for APSET qualifying Certificates.
APSET 2017 Cut off Marks/ Subject wise Result
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Securing minimum cut off marks, decided by the Andhra Pradesh State Entrance Test 2017 recruitment panel out of total 350 Marks in the APSET (Including Paper-I/II/III). AP SET 30th July 2017 Entrance cut off marks/ Minimum qualifying marks (Category wise) will be displayed for All UGC approved 31 Subjects on the behalf of average performance of the candidates, total appeared candidates, Average marks obtained by the candidates, difficulty of the paper etc.

The details of marks and the eligibility status secured by the candidates appeared for Andhra Pradesh SET July 2017 shall be published expectedly within 25 days of the Exam at the website of Andhra University. Those who are eligible to be declared as successful shall have to produce the required documents for verification and issue of certificates. Top of Form
The UGC has determined the Minimum Cut off Marks for the candidates to be considered eligible for being awarded Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor as hereunder:

APSET Cut Off Marks 2017
Important to Note:
- It is mandatory for the candidates desiring to appear in the Andhra Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be considered for Promotion of Lectures / Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges as hereinabove.
- Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step I, Merit List would be drawn up (Subject-wise and Category-wise) by using the Aggregate Marks secured by the candidates in the above Three Papers.
- Top 15% candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under Step II shall be declared Andhra Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
- The University Grants Commission would draw up a Separate Merit List for for Promotion of Lectures / Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges to the Candidates from amongst the SET qualified candidates figuring in the Merit List under Step III.
- Furthermore, the UGC makes the afore stated Qualifying Criteria FINAL & BINDING on the Candidates.
