APSC Recruitment 2017 – Dy Director, Museum Officer Posts: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has given a notification for the recruitment of Deputy Director/ Inspector of Schools/ District Elementary Education Officer under Assam education Service, District Museum Officer under Cultural Affairs Department vacancies. Name of the Posts:
1. Deputy Director/ Inspector of Schools/ District Elementary Education Officer: 07 Posts
2. District Museum Officer: 03 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age should be between 21-43 years as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable for the candidates of reserved category as per existing provision.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Second Class Master degree in any stream with B.T/ B.Ed. Degree with uniformly brilliant academic career for Post 01, Master Degree in Sanskrit/Archaeology/ History with ancient History or MA/ M.Sc in Anthropology with 55% marks and knowledge of museum method or MA in Museology for Post 02 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening test/ Viva-voce interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in the prescribed format affixing recent photograph along with self attested photocopies of Certificate/ Mark Sheet from HSLC onwards, Caste/ Registration Certificate/ Experience Certificates to Under Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on or before 17-10-2017 during office hours.
