The Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) Committee release the notification regarding the release of CLAT 2018 Counselling procedure, dates concerning the Counselling rounds & Seat allotment procedure. Under the administration of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law committee conducted the Common Law Admission Test 2018 & declare shortly the results of Entrance Test. Based on the PAC details the Committee is all set to commence the Counselling procedure & prescriptively going to held the counselling rounds/ seat allotment events.
After declaring the CLAT 2018 result & issuing the Merit list of candidates (Category wise) Committee is all set to commence the Counselling process, Committee invites the counselling fee from the Merit Listed candidates who are allowed to participate in the counselling, will have to pay the counselling fee shortly.
- The university-wise first indicative list based on merit-cum preference will be published on CLAT website on the prescribed dates.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is an all India entrance examination for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country. An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their UG/PG programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities. It is being conducted on rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes.

A specified number of candidates from various categories are allowed to participate in the counselling process against the available number of seats available with participating National Law Universities.

Candidates have to submit the counselling fee shortly & will have to attend the counselling venue & through the seat allotment procedure candidates will get the admissions in their respective NLUs.

CLAT 2018 Counselling Fee:
The provisionally selected candidates must deposit the requisite counselling fee of ` 50,000/- The adjustable counselling fee of ` 50,000/- deposited with the CLAT office will be transferred to the respective participating NLUs where the candidate has finally taken admission after the completion of the entire admission process. The candidates failing to deposit the requisite counselling fee through the CLAT website by the specified date will lose their right to be considered for admission under CLAT-2018 and their names will be dropped from the CLAT-2018 merit list.
The candidates have to reserve their seats after paying the counselling fee by following the procedure prescribed in counselling guidelines given on the CLAT- 2018 website.

Note: After the closure of the CLAT office, vacancy if any, in any NLU, shall be filled by the respective NLU at their own level from the CLAT list in order of merit.
