CMWSSB Jr. Assistant, DCOF Examination Result 2017: In view of the Competitive Written Examination for Recruitment to the Post of Junior Assistant and Deputy Controller of Finance held on the 23^rd of September 2017 as mentioned in the subsequent Part, we look forward to Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board to declare well-nigh on mid-October 2017 the Result for the Objective Recruitment Examination.  The Recruitment Board Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board will upload on the Official Website the Result for the Candidates.  Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board shall declare the Result for the Objective Written Examination based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and Marks obtained.  The Candidates declared Successful in the Objective Written Test will be Shortlisted for Personal Interview.

CMWSSB DCOF, Junior Assistant Examination – Expected Cut-Off Marks:  

Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board appointed Selection Committee will determine the Expected Cut-Off Marks at their discretion for the Candidates likely to be called for Personal Interview. The Candidates shall have to obtain the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be considered Eligible for appearing in Personal Interview.  Only Candidates observed and declared Successful based on the Minimum Percentile Marks / Minimum Qualifying Marks obtained by them would be called for Viva-voce.

Only Candidates having secured the Minimum Qualifying Marks Category-wise will be called for Oral Test (Interview).  The Selection Committee, based on the Minimum Qualifying Marks obtained by the Examinees in the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination will carry out Shortlisting for Personal Interview.  Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board will declare the Result for the Objective Type OMR Based Written Examination in concurrence with Announcement of the Result of thereof. The Recruitment Board will upload on the Official Website the Result for the Objective Type Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination being conducted on the 23^rd of September 2017.

Procedure for Selection:

• 65% Weight age for the Marks obtained by the Candidate in the Qualifying Board / University Examination;


• 25% Weight age for the Marks obtained in the Objective Type Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination comprising the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type conducted by the Selection Committee of the Board or by any other Committee or Agency appointed or nominated by the Board.


• 10% Weight age for Personal Interview.
