IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2017 – Apply online for REO Posts: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has issued notification for the recruitment of Research Establishment Officer (REO) (Grade I, II) & Senior Research Establishment Officer (REO) vacancies for various departments on temporary and on contractual basis. IIT Kanpur Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 17
Name of the Posts:
1. Research Establishment Officer(Grade I): 11 Posts
2. Research Establishment Officer(Grade II): 04 Posts
3. Senior Research Establishment Officer: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 45 years born on or after 16-10-1972 for Post-01, 40 years born on or after 16-10-1977 for Post-02, 48 years for Post-03 born on or after 16-10-1969 as on 16-10-2017. Age relaxation is applicable upto 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Tech/ Ph.D in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Aerospace/ Civil/ Material Science (Metallurgy), M.Sc/ M.Tech/ Ph.D in Experimental Aerosol Science/ Environmental Engg/ Atmospheric Science or related discipline, M.Tech/ M.Sc experience in electrical/ electronic background of high calibre with expertise in electronic circuit design and troubleshooting or Ph.D in experimental work in Accelerators/ Ion beams with working knowledge of ultra-high vacuum techniques, B.E/ B. Tech/ M.Tech/ Ph.D (Mechanical/ Production), B.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, M.Tech/ M.Sc.(Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering), B.Tech in Material Science and Engineering/ Chemical Engineering for Post-01, B.V.Sc. or equivalent, B.Tech/ B.E in Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology for Post-02, Ph.D in Electronics Engineering,M.Tech/ M.Sc (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering) for Post-03.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn on any nationalized bank in the favour of The Registrar, IIT Kanpur payable at Kanpur.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website “www.iitk.ac.in” on or before 09-10-2017 up to 05:00 PM and send the hard copy of online application form along with all attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed together with DD in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF with Serial Number and Advertisement No. (Post Code)” by registered/ speed post to the Joint Registrar, The Office of Dean, Research and Development, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, U.P. – 208016 on or before 16-10-2017 upto 05:00 PM.
