Indian Army Officer Jobs 2018: The Recruitment to Territorial Officer Indian Army Online Registration is going to commence shortly with the Deadline for Online Application Forms closing on the last date of form submission.

Eligibility Criteria:

Upper Age Limit: 

General Category Candidate should have completed Minimum 18 Years and must not exceed Maximum 42 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limits for the Candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Any Candidate must have in possession Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Procedure for Selection:

1. The Candidates whose Application Forms are found Correct will be called for Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test / Written Examination followed by Personal Interview only if passed in the Written Test) by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters.


2. Successful Candidates will further undergo Tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for Final Selection.

Territorial Army Territorial Officer OMR Based Written Examination 2018:

The Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) will host soon an Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test / Written Test to shortlist the Candidates for Personal Interview involving various Tests.

Examination Duration:

02 Hours each. Examination Duration:

Maximum time for each Paper is 02 Hours and an Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination will be conducted in Two Sessions.

Type Of the Examination:

Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test comprising 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions and the Optical Mark Recognition Answer Sheet will be used.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:  

Minimum 40% Qualifying Marks in each Part of the Paper separately and overall Average of 50%.

Penalty For Wrong Answers:

The Candidates should note that there will be Penalty (Negative Marking) for the Wrong Answers marked by any Candidate in the Objective Type Test Question Papers.

Procedure for Selection:

Stage I	Shortlisting of the Candidate’s Application:  The Shortlisted Shortlisted Candidates shall be summoned for the Aptitude Test (in English Medium). The Preliminary Test shall consist of Mental Ability Test / Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
Stage II	Final Selection: The Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Selection shall be called for Final Selection. The Date and Venue for the Final Selection will be uploaded on the Indian Coast Guard Website. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test (PT), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (Personality Test) leading to preparation of the Final Merit List and Result.
Phase I	would comprise Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test
	The Candidates declared QUALIFIED in Phase I shall be allowed to appear in Phase II.  The Candidates declared NOT QUALIFIED in the Phase I of the Test would be sent back forthwith.
Phase II	shall comprise Psychological Testing, Group Testing and Interview.  The Test shall be held over Four (04) days. The Successful Candidates shall be put to Medical Examination that would be held during 03 – 05 Days.

The Candidate, who qualify in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test / Written Test of conducted by the Preliminary Interview Board, shall be required to carry the following Documents in Original along with attested Photocopies at the time of Preliminary Interview Board:

1. Application Form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-2 to be downloaded from the Indian Army Official Website and fill it up in their respective Handwriting.


2. All Educational Qualification Certificates (Matriculation onwards).


3. Latest Physical Fitness Certificate issued by any Registered Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Doctor.


4. Photocopy of Identity Proof with the Photographs (Voter Is / PAN Card / Aadhar Card / Passport / Driving License, etc).


5. Domicile / Residential Proof.


6. Certificate for Proof of Age (Matriculation – Secondary School Certificate / Senior Secondary Certificate Mark Sheet and Certificate for Verification of Date of Birth).


7. Service Certificate by the Candidates employed in Central Government / Union Territory / State / Semi- Government / Private Sector Authenticated by Head Office along with No Objection Certificate issued / released by the Department as per the Format given here below.


8. Self-Employed Candidates are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Minimum Value duly attested stating nature of Employment and Annual Income along with Photocopy of PAN Card and Self-certified Character Certificate.


9. The Candidates whose Names vary in the Documents should submit Copy of Gazette Notification of India / State showing the Correct Name or an Affidavit duly supported by the Newspaper Cuttings.


10. Latest Income Proof released by the Appropriate Authority (i.e., Income Tax Revenue Department / Magistrate / Employer).


11. Photocopy of PAN Card.


12. Copy of Aadhar Card.


13. Employees of Railways are required to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) duly authenticated by the Railway Board

Application Fee:

Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred only).
