JSSC JSISICE 2017 Expected Cut-Off Marks:
Jharkhand SSC will stipulate / fix Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks for the Candidates aimed at Shortlisting for the subsequent Main Examination consisting of 03 Papers for Total 1110 Marks with Paper I (for 360 Marks) of Qualifying nature with the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by the Examinees and necessitating the Candidates to secure Maximum Marks in Paper II (300 Marks) & Paper III for 450 Marks. The Candidates declared Successful with the Minimum Qualifying Marks shall be considered for preparation of the Common Merit List taking into consideration Maximum Marks in the Second and Third Papers.
Criteria for Selection:
Strictly based on the Final Select List prepared in order of the Marks obtained in the Main Objective Examination Merit drawn up based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and respective Marks secured in Jharkhand Combined Police Sub-Inspector Competitive (Main) Examination 2017 consisting of 03 Papers for Total 1110 Marks (Paper I for 360 Marks, Paper II for 100 Marks for 300 Marks and Paper III for 450 Marks) where necessitating the Candidates to obtain Minimum Qualifying 30% Marks in Paper I for 360 Marks, with these Marks not to be included in the Final Merit List leading to preparation of Final Select List based on Maximum Marks to be obtained both in Paper II and Paper III (Paper II for 100 Marks for 300 Marks and Paper III for 450 Marks – Paper II & Paper III for 750 Marks by the followed by their being declared successful in the Physical Test and the subsequent Medical Examination. The candidates found Medically Fit in the Medical Exam and declared Satisfactory / Fittest by the Jharkhand State Government shall be recommended for Final Appointment.

Final Selection the Candidates to the Post of Police Sub-Inspector shall be strictly in order of Merit. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission shall prepare Common Merit List based on the Maximum Marks obtained by the Candidates in Paper II & Paper III of Jharkhand State Combined Police Sub-Inspector Competitive (Main) Examination 2017. The Final Merit List Categories of the Candidates District-wise shall be prepared on the bases of their Performance and Marks in the Main Examination and Interview. However, those Candidates shall be considered Finally Eligible for Recruitment who would figure with Sufficient High Marks on the Merit List. The Medical Board appointed / nominated by the Jharkhand State Home Ministry, upon finding the Candidates Medically Fit for discharging their responsibilities shall be issued Final Appointment in the Posts of Jharkhand State Police Constable.
