Note: The result of K-TET shall be tentatively declared in the month of Dec-Jan 2016-17 and will also be available on Council’s Website for all subjects consisting Level-1/ Level-2, Level-3, Level-4.
Teacher Eligibility Test K TET-2017 Cut off Marks
The Kerala SSLC Board on the basis of deciding minimum cut off marks for J-TET 2016 (Held on 12,19-08-2017) will shortlist (Category wise).
Minimum Qualifying Marks / Minimum Percentile Marks Category-wise are as mentioned in the Latter Part.
General Category: 60% Marks, Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes Differently-Abled Persons: 55% Marks and Persons with Disabilities (VI): 50% Marks.
Points to Note:
- More than lakhs of students of Kerala appeared in the Kerala TET. Candidate who scores 60% or more in Jharkhand TET exam 2016the exam will be considered as JAC TET pass.

Kerala TEACHERS ELIGIBILITY TEST 2017
NOTE:
There was no negative marking in the Teacher Eligibility TEST
Categories–
- Those who intends to be a teacher for Lower Primary classes and fulfills the minimum educational qualification (Category I)
- Those who intends to be a teacher for Upper Primary classes and fulfills the minimum qualification (Category II)
- Those who intends to be a teacher for High School classes and fulfills the minimum qualification (Category III)
- Those who intends to be a language teacher up to Upper Primary classes and fulfills the minimum qualification. For Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers, K-TET is applicable up to High School level (Category IV)
Kerala K-TET 2017- Merit Criteria:
Even the State Council of Educational Research & Training has already determined Minimum Qualifying Marks Community wise for the Candidates; however, the Candidates with Sufficient High Marks / Maximum Marks, i.e., higher than 60% up to 70% shall be placed on the Merit List.
