NVS 6th Class Admissions 2018, JNVST Entrance Test Result:
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Submission of the Downloaded Applications Forms in the Office of the Block Education Officer is in progress with the Last Date for submission of the Duly filled-in Application Forms being the 25th of November 2017 (25.11.2017) in the Office of the Block Education Officer (BEO) concerned.
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2018-19 will be held as per following schedule. The last date for uploading online application in the office of Common Service Centre is 25th November 2017.
i. On Saturday, the_10th February, 2018 at 11.30 A.M in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley & Tawang Districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla Districts), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, & West Bengal (except Darjeeling), Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Pudducherry.
ii. On Sunday, the 8th April, 2018 at 11.30 A.M. in the States of Jammu and Kashmir (except Leh, Kargil & Doda), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttrakhand and in the Districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Chamba, Kullu, Mandi, Sirmour of Himachal Pradesh, in the District of
Darjeeling of West Bengal.
iii. On Saturday, the 9th June, 2018 at 11.30 A.M. in the Districts of Leh, Kargil & Doda of J&K State and in the District of Kinnaur, Shimla and Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh State.

As Limit:
- The Applicant Candidates appearing in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Examination – 2018 must have been born between 01.05.2005 – 30.04.2009.
- Any Candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying in Class-V for the entire of the Academic Session 2018-19.
- A Candidate claiming Admission under Rural Quota must have studied and passed classes III, IV and V from a Government / Government-Aided / recognized School spending one full academic Session each Year in a School located in the Rural Area.
- Candidates who will be passing ‘B’ Certificate Competency Course of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on or before the 15th of September 2017.
- A Candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before 15th September,
2017 is not eligible to apply.

Admission of the students into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2018 shall be based on the All India Merit List prepared by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and per Reservation Police notified by the Government of India.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2018 Entrance Result along with the Successfully Qualified candidates list for admission into Sixth (VIth) Standard is going to be announced by the Smiti shortly on the under stated link. Counseling and Document Verification
The Parents of the Children declared having Qualified the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Examination / Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2018 will have to submit following at the time of Admission:
- Affidavit / Residence Certificate in prescribed Performa in addition to other documents demanded by the concerned Vidyalaya.
- For the Candidates seeking Admission under Rural Quota, the Parents will also have to submit an Affidavit to the effect that the child is studying in an Institute located in a notified Rural Area and that they are residing in a notified Rural Area.

Scheme of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Examination / Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2018:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) shall conduct the JNVST 2018 for admission into Class VI, as per the Pattern shown in the Tabular Format.
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test – 2018 shall be held in the Intelligence Character Recognition Answer Sheet (ICRAS) / Optical Character Recognition Based Answer Sheet (OCRAS).
