Ordnance Factory Board Group C Results 2017 Fitter-Machinist-Turner-Electrician Expected Cut Off:

The Ordnance Factories Board OFRC is all set to declare the Industrial Employees (Group C) trade wise posts Written Exam 2017. OFB Recruitment Centre in successive to evaluating the Answer Books of 10th September 2017 OFB Written Test going to declare the Result heron. Takes note of the Ordnance Factory, (OFM) notified OMR based Test for Recruitment to Industrial Employees (Group ‘C’ Posts) held on 10^th Sept 2017 (10.09.2017) and would like to briefly state in the subsequent Paragraphs. 

We look forward to Ordnance ORC Centre to shortly declare the Group C posts Minimum Qualifying Marks specific to the Test and Aggregate Score in the Competitive Written Examination Result information in due course.  The Computer Based Online Test consisting of Two Parts carries Maximum 100 Marks.

The Ordnance Factory Board Medak may announce the Result before mid-May 2017 for the Objective Written Examination of Maximum 100 (20 + 80) Marks. We would publish First Alert on our Website Ordnance Factory declared announced Results for the Computer Based Test w for the ready reference of the Candidates.

Industrial Employees(Semi-Skilled)&LabourGroup ‘C’

The Candidates appeared in the Objective Written Part shall have to score Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Part and Sufficient High Marks in Aggregate to get Shortlisted for Practical/ Trade Test after Document Verification.

OFC Industrial Employees Group C Result Date 2017

The candidates who secured minimum qualifying marks in optical marks based written examination will be subsequently called for Practical trade test. The Practical Trade Test of 100 marks will be of qualifying in nature.

Final Selection Process

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list. The merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of their performance in the written examination.

Part – A (Objective Type) consisting of Two Parts mentioned here under carries 20 Marks, as follows:

1. General Science – 10 Marks (10 Multiple Choice Questions)


2. Quantitative Aptitude – 10 Marks (10 Multiple Choice Questions)

Part-B (Objective Type) consists of One Part:

Knowledge of Technical Trade – 80 Marks (80 Multiple Choice Questions) (National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Syllabus of the relevant Trade).

1. There shall be no Interview for filling up these Vacancies. However, the Candidates shall have to qualify in the Trade Test / Skill Test (Practical).


2. On the basis of the Marks obtained in the Computer Based Written Test (CBWT), the Candidates to the extent of 1.25 times the number of the Vacancies shall be called for the Trade Test / Skill Test (Practical).


3. The Trade Test / Skill Test (Practical) shall be only of Qualifying in nature, without any Marks (00 Marks).


4. The Candidates not qualified in the Trade Test shall not be considered for Final Selection irrespective of the Marks in the Computer Based Objective Written Examination.

Ordnance Factory Grp C (Fitter-Machinist) Cut Off 2017

1. On the basis of merit list based on marks obtained in written test, candidates 1.25 times the
   number of vacancies shall be called for Trade Test (Practical).


2. The Trade Test (Practical) shall be only qualifying in nature,without any marks. However,
   those candidates who do not qualify in the Trade Test shall not be considered at all, irrespective
   of marks obtained in the written examination


3. The final merit/select list shall be based on marks obtained in the written test only, subject to
   document verification and qualifying the Trade Test.


4. The final merit/select list thus prepared factory wise will be published at www.ofb.gov.in.


5. Preference to Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories:As per current executive order
   of MOD/OFB, extra 5 marks “which is under litigation as on date” may be given to Ex-trade
   Apprentices of Ordnance Factories, in the final merit list of the written examination to be
   conducted for a total of 100 marks for recruitment of Industrial Employees in Ordnance
   Factories against this advertisement. This provision is sub-judice and subject to outcome of
   court cases/orders.
