Rail Coach Factory Apprentice Merit List 2017 Result News:
RCF, Kapurthala Engagement of Act Apprentice 2017 Merit List: Rail Coach Factory (RCF) will shortly issue Notice in respect of Announcement of the Merit List for Trade-specific Admission / Selection / Engagement of Act Apprentices for Training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. However, the Rail Coach Factory Selection Committee shall prepare Trade-specific Merit List under each Category for Admission into Engagement of Act Apprentices for Training in the Trades notified in the Advertisement.
Final Selection to the Trades mentioned here under shall be strictly based on the Merit as mentioned in the subsequent Part.
Procedure for Trade-wise Engagement of Act Apprentices – Result:
The Rail Coach Factory, Kapoorthala shall proceed with Appointment / Selection of the Merit-listed Candidates as officially notified in the Notification by Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, as re-cited in the subsequent Part. We look forward to Rail Coach Factory Selection Committee to declare tentatively in the First Week of October 2017 the Final Results based on the Merit as decided by Rail Coach Factory. Rail Coach Factory will announce the Final Results prepared on the basis of the Merit of the Candidates. Rail Coach Factory will publish / display on the Official Website the Results and Merit Lists prepared under different Categories, Community-wise. Rail Coach Factory, subsequent to Announcement of the Results, will call the Candidates declared Merit-listed for Verification of Documents before Finally Engaging them Act As Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
Methodology for Selection:
Selection specific to the Trade shall be on the basis of the Merit List prepared for all the Candidates who had opted against the Notification. The Merit List will be prepared for the purpose based on the Percentage of the Marks obtained in High School Certificate / Secondary School Certificate Examination / Matriculation (with Minimum 50% of Aggregate Marks) + Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Marks in the Trade in which Apprenticeship is to be pursued by the Candidate.
The Panel will be on the basis of Simple Average of Marks in the Matriculation and Industrial Training Institute. For the purpose of Calculation of Percentage of Matriculation, the Marks obtained by the Candidates in all the Subjects would be reckoned and not on the basis of the Marks of any Subject or a Group of Subjects. For the purpose of Calculation of the Percentage of ITI Marks, the Marks mentioned in the Provisional / Final Certificate will be reckoned.
TIE Breaking:
In case of two Candidates having the Equal Marks, the Candidates Senior in Age / Older in Age shall be preferred. In case the Dates of Birth also remaining the same, then the Candidate, who passed Matriculation Examination earlier shall be considered First.
A Final Merit List will be prepared Trade-wise and Community-wise, equal to the number of the Slots in the Descending Order of the Percentage of the Marks obtained by the Candidate, as stated above.
The Candidates finally enlisted would be subject to Verification of Original Testimonials and being found fit in appropriate Medical Examination by RCF Hospital Authorities.
