TNHB Jr Asstt &Typist Written Examination Answers Key in PDF File: Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) may release in the Third Week of October 2017 the Provisional Answers Key in order of Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D in Portable Document Format File for the Test Question Paper Booklet of the Competitive Written Examination being held on the 24th of September 2017 [Fore-Noon Session (FNS) and After-Noon Session (ANS)] for Recruitment to the Posts of Junior Assistant and Typist for 138 (126 + 12) Vacancies in the Organization.
Tamil Nadu Housing Board would intimate the Examinees a Stipulated Timeline to submit their Objections to the Model Answers Key for publishing the Final Answers Key at a later stage and thereafter the Result for the Objective Type Competitive Written Examination shall follow before October-end 2017.
TNHB Junior Assistant Expected Cut Off 2017
Tamil Nadu Housing Board has determined Minimum Qualifying 40 Marks irrespective of Category to be obtained out of 85 Marks apportioned for the Objective Type of Competitive Written Examination and Aggregate 100 Marks for the TNHB Recruitment Examination 2017. The Candidates failing or not securing Minimum Percentile 40 Marks in the Objective Type Competitive Written Examination shall not be considered for Personal Interview to be conducted post-Announcement of the Result for the Competitive Written Examination.

Selection for the Posts of Junior Assistants, Typists and all other Posts mentioned in the Notification will be strictly based on the Ranking of obtained in the in the Objective Type Competitive Written Examination comprising the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type therein and as per the Rule of Reservation of the State Government and as per the ratio 1:2 for appearing in the Interview.
The Candidates employed in Government / Quasi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Boards and Corporations etc., if called for Interview having obtained the Eligibility Marks shall have to submit ‘No Objection Certificates’ issued by their respective Employer in the Prescribed Format (Annexure-II) available in Tamil Nadu Housing Board Website.
Selection Criteria:
Final Selection to various Posts published in the Notification by Tamil Nadu Housing Board shall be carried out based on the Merit of the Marks (Competitive Written Examination + Interview) and as per Communal Roster. If the Candidates did not attend the Interview, then he / she will not be considered for Selection.
Merit List Criteria:
Tamil Nadu Housing Board will prepare Common Merit List for the Posts under each Category based on the Total 100 Marks (i.e., Competitive Written Examination – 85 Marks + Interview – 15 Marks).
In case where more than one Candidate has obtained Equal Marks in the Common Merit List, the Inter-se-Merit among such Candidates shall be determined in order of Date of Birth (i.e., Senior / Elder Candidate will be given Preference) by Tamil Nadu Housing Board.
Procedure for Selection:
Final Selection to the Posts (viz., Junior Assistant (126 Nos.) and Typist (12 Nos.) as well as Surveyor (19 Nos.), Junior Draughting Officer (19 Nos.), Assistant Engineer (25 Nos.), Technical Assistant (76 Nos.) shall be made on the basis of the Competitive Written Examination consisting of Two Successive Stages (i.e., Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination and Personal Interview).
