Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM)-2018 IIT Bombay will conduct the IIT JAM 2018 for providing admissions to the Master of Science and other post B.Sc. programmes at the IITs. Based on the Examination Notification IIT JAM-2018 will be conducted on the scheduled 11^th February 2018 under the supervision of IIT Bombay. The candidates can register Online from 5th September 2017 to 10^th October 2017 at the official website of the conducting department/ jam.iitd.ac.in

IIT JAM-2018: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will organize the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc at IITs (IIT JAM) 2018. Prior to the Examination department has scheduled the detailed Entrance Exam procedure & likely to commence the Online registration from 05/09/2017 onward. The Eligible candidates may apply Online for the Entrance Registration till the 10th October 2017. The IIT JAM 2018 Online registration will be made from 5th Sept 2017 to 11^th October 2017 at the specified link/ website jam.iitd.ac.in. Along with the Online Application fee

IIT JAM 2018 Required Eligibility (Qualification):

Candidates with at least 55% Aggregate marks without rounding off (Taking into account all subjects, including language & subsidiaries, all year combined) for General, OBC, NCL category candidates. And at least 50 % Aggregate marks without rounding off (Taking into account all subjects, including language & subsidiaries, all year combined) for SC/ ST & PWD Category candidates in the qualifying Degree.

For candidates with Grades/ CGPA (Instead of % of Marks) the equivalence in percentage of Marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute.

Proof of having passed should be submitted by September 30, 2018

Test Paper/ Mode of Examination:

For all the papers JAM 2018 will be conducted in Online Mode

JAM 2018 will have 7 test papers namely Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) & Physics (PH) each of the Three Hours duration.

IIT JAM 2018 Admission Procedure:

Admissions to the offered courses in IITs/ IISc will be based on the All India Merit List of JAM 2018. Candidates who qualify in the Test Paper of JAM shall be eligible to apply for Admission to all academic programmes corresponding to that paper provided, they also satisfy the Minimum Educational qualification & eligibility requirement.

After the declaration of JAM 2018 result qualified candidates shall be required to apply to the Organizing Institute (IIT Bombay) specifying their preferences for the programmes for which admission is sought. Further details shall be provided through notification.
