The Indian Navy has made the announcement for Indian Navy Pilot, Air Traffic Controller Examination for Course commencing from July 2018. Indian Navy invites the Online Application forms for Indian Unmarried Male & Female Candidates from 26th August 2017 upto 16th September 2017 at the JoinIndianNavy website links/ as shared under. Indian Navy Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller Exam 2017-18: Indian Navy Invites Applications for Course Examination 2017-18 for candidates selection as Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller on Short Service Commission for Course commencing July 2018. Online applications can be filled from 26-08-2017 to 16-09-2017 at the official website of JoinIndianNavy. Online Applications for the Short Service Commission Officers as Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller from Male & Female both are invited from enthusiastic & Eligible (Unmarried Indian) candidates upto 16th September 2017. Then further candidates should Print two copies of the online Application Forms having the system generated Application Number. Further candidates should Paste recent passport size colour photograph at the space provided and self- attest the same
Educational Qualifications:
Those Candidates pursuing/ Passed Engineering Degree (Any Branch) through Regular/ Integrated mode from a recognized University with atleast 60% marks in 5th/ 7th Semester. Or those candidates who are in Final Year of Engineering Course (12th with Physics & Mathematics).
For ATC Entry candidates should have 60% marks in 10th, 12th & In English also at 12th Level. Also will have to qualify the B.E/ B.Tech with atleast 60% marks.

The selection procedure is as follows:-
- IHQ of MoD reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off/ percentage of marks without assigning any reason. No communication will be entertained on this account.
Conduct of SSB Interview:
SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled by the Join Indian Navy shortly in June 2017-August 2017 (Tentative). Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
(b) SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages.
Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day.
Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).
(c) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training as per all India merit depending on the number of vacancies.
(d) Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates be addressed to the call up officer of the SSB on receipt of call up letter. Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) by SMS/email.
(e) Candidates will be selected for July 2018 Course & further after that will be selected as Sub Lieutenant.
After the submission of Application forms Indian Navy will decide to Display the Eligible/ Non Eligible candidates List & further release the INTERVIEW CALL LETTERS & issue the SSB Interview dates/ Interview Centres etc through the website portal of Indian Navy & here we will provide the detailed Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller Selection 2017-18 updates.
Note: Short Service Commission: Candidates inducted under Short Service Commission will be granted the commission initially for 12 years extendable further for two years.
