AFMC Pune PG Medical Admissions 2018, Application Form | Counseling Seat Allotment:

AFMC MBBS Admission – Online Registration: Taking cognizance of the Armed Forces Medical College Notification in respect of Admission into 4½- Years’ Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course for the Academic Session, we anticipate the Medical Counseling Committee to activate the Online Application Form Registration followed by Official Communiqué in this regard. The Armed Forces Medical College may release in November 2017 Notification in this respect.

AFMC Medical College PG Admission 2018 Registration

The Duration of the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course is 4½ Years followed by the Compulsory Rotating Internship Training for a period of One Year. All the Medical Cadets commissioned into the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) shall have to undergo Internship Training in the Selected Service Hospitals recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The MBBS Course commences in the First Week of August 2018.  Admission into the Under Graduate 4½-Years Course shall be based on the Central Board of Secondary Education conducted National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 All India Rank.   

Academic Qualifications:

The Candidates must have passed one of the Qualifying Examinations listed at Sub-Para (a) to (j) below in the First Attempt with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the Aggregate Marks in these Three Science Subjects taken together and not less than 50% Marks in English and 50% Marks in each of the Science subjects. They must have also passed an Examination in Mathematics of the Tenth Standard.

The Candidates shall be required to furnish / submit / produce the Certificates / Marks Sheets in Original, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Under Graduate (UG) – 2017 Admit Card (Hall Ticket), National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Under Graduate Score card and Original Certificate of National Cadet Corps, Sports Certificate at the School, District, State & National / International Level, if any, at the time of the Screening at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.

Examination means – National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Under Graduate (NEET-UG) – 2018 Written Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Examination:

The Candidates seeking Admission into the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune will have to qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Under-Graduate – 2018 scheduled to conducted in May / June 2018, the Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). 

Qualifying Examination means – The Examination passed by the Candidate, on the Result of which they become Eligible to apply for Admission into the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune (i.e., Class 10 + 2 or Equivalent Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB).

Procedure for Admission:

It is the Responsibility of the Candidates to ascertain whether they possess the Requisite Qualifications for Admission.

Having filled up the Online Application Form Or being called for the Interview does not necessarily mean Acceptance of the Eligibility. Final Eligibility for Admission will be decided by Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences, Nashik post Interview likely to be conducted in July 2018.

Selected / Waitlisted Candidates to bring the following Certificates in original along with Two Xerox.

The Candidates are hereby advised to keep a Scanned Copy of all the Documents also as the Certificates will be forwarded to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik for Clearance of Eligibility which will be returned after completion of Course (03-Years).

• Class X / SSLC / ICSE certificate as valid certificate of proof of age for Priority IV & V candidates.


• Nationality Certificate / Valid Passport / Domicile Certificate / Birth Certificate endorsed with Nationality as ‘Indian’ on it.


• MD/MS Mark Sheet


• Internship Completion Certificate


• Permanent/Provisional State Medical Council Registration Certificate


• Attempt Certificate


• Transfer Certificate


• Migration Certificate


• Pass Certificate/Degree Certificate of Doctor of Medicine (MD) / Master of Surgery (MS) / Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.)


• Affidavit Gap Certificate (made by the student duly certified by Executive Magistrate (if applicable).
