NIE Recruitment 2017 – Walk in for Scientist C & Project Asst Posts: National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Chennai has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Scientist-C (Medical/Non-Medical) (Laboratory) & Project Assistant (Lab) vacancies for the project entitled of “Model District for Public Health Preparedness, Surveillance and Response: Multi-Strategic Integrated Approach in Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu, India”. Name of the Posts:
1. Scientist-C (Medical/Non-Medical) (Laboratory): 01 Post
2. Project Assistant (Lab): 04 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 40 years for S.No-1, 30 years for UR, 33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ ST for S.No-2 Posts. Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MD (Microbiology) with one (1) year R&D/ teaching experience or First class Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university with four (4) years experience in Microbiology after 1st Class Master’s Degree or Second class M.Sc + Ph.D degree, in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Allied Health Sciences from a recognized University with four (4) years experience for S.No-1, Graduation in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university with three years work/research experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university for S.No-2 Posts.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on applicants performance in written test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- in form of Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO)/ Demand Draft payable to the Director, National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend the intervirew along with all certificates/ testimonials in Original Certificates, attested copy of OBC Non – Creamy Layer Certificate in specified format etc., on 25-10-2017 between 9.00 AM to 10.00 AM.
