SSC NR Group B C Exam Date 2017 Admit Card Download:
In view of the All India Competitive Examination 2017 to be held in the Computer Based Online Test Format for Recruitment to different Posts under Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Cadre, we would briefly state in respect of Dates for Issuance of the e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets and Computer Based Online Test Schedule for Selection in the subsequent Paragraphs.
SSC Group ‘B’ & Group ‘C’ CBE Admit Cards Download:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would release the electronic Admission Certificates for the All India Competitive Examination / Computer Based Online Test to be held shortly. The Staff Selection Commission Examination shall shortly declare the Dates for issuance of the electronic Admit Cards as well as Computer Based Recruitment Test to be organized likely in November / December 2017. Therefore, we look forward to the Commission to upload on the Official Regional Websites of the Staff Selection Commission. The Commission shall upload the e-Hall Tickets Minimum 02 / 03 Weeks prior to commencement of the Computer Based Online Test / Computer Based Examinations for Recruitment to different Posts under Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’. The Candidates are hereby advised to download their e-Admit Cards by logging on to the Staff Selection Commission Regional Websites displayed at the closing of this Title. The Candidates would be able to download their respective e-Admit Cards followed by the Staff Selection Commission Announcement in this regard.
Scheme of the SSC Group ‘B’ & Group ‘C’ All India Competitive Examination 2017:
The Staff Selection Commission shall host the All India Competitive Examination in Computer Based Online Test Format for Selection to various Posts opted for by the Candidates. Final Selection to the Posts shall be based on the Final Merit List drawn up based on the Candidates’ Section-specific and Aggregate Marks obtained in the Computer Based Online Test / Computer Based Examinations. The Skill Test including Computer Proficiency & Speed Test / Computer Based Typewriting & Speed Test / Data Entry Operation Test remain of Qualifying Sort for Selection to the Posts applied for by the Candidates. Even as Selection of the Candidates to the Post would be strictly based on the Maximum Marks obtained by the General / Un-Reserved Category Candidates only, whereas Reserved Candidates shall be allowed Relaxation in the Minimum Percentile Marks to be obtained by them in the Computer Based Test, the Skill Test followed by Announcement of the Result shall remain Qualifying Criteria with No Marks to be allotted for the same.

The Staff Selection Commission shall have the discretion to fix different Minimum Qualifying Standards in each Component of the Examination taking into consideration among others, Category-wise Vacancies and Category-wise Number of the Candidates.
Skill Tests like Computer Based Typewriting Test / Data Entry Operation / Computer Proficiency & Speed Test, etc., wherever prescribed in the Essential Qualification, would be conducted, which shall be of a Qualifying sort.
Criteria for Selection:
Final Merit List will be drawn up based on the Candidates’ respective Performance and Aggregate Marks obtained in the in Computer Based Online Test / Computer Based Examination.
Resolution of TIE Cases:
In case two or more Candidates secure the Equal Marks in the Computer Based Recruitment Examination / Computer Based Examination, the TIE shall be resolved by adopting the following Procedure:
- On the basis of the Date of Birth with the Candidates Senior / Older Candidate in Age being placed Higher in Merit.
- Alphabetical Order of the First names of the Candidates.
