CMWSSB Chennai Metropolitan Board AE/ SAO Expected Cutoff Marks

Candidates on the basis of their Performances in the 100 Marks OMR BASED Written Examination & Qualifying Marks addition shall be shortlisted for the next round of selection. Out of total 100 Marks of Written Exams. CMWSSB will decide the Category wise minimum qualifying marks.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:-

As per the procedure prescribed in the CMWSSB Special Regulations 1982, the method of selection for the initial appointment to various services for which minimum qualification is prescribed as Degree shall be as follows:

1. 65 % weightage for marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying Board / University Examination


2. 25% weightage for marks obtained in the written examination (objective type) conducted by the Selection Committee of the Board or by any other Committee or Agency appointed or nominated by the Board.

CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION: Certificate Verification is done to verify the eligibility of the claims made by the candidates in the on-line application. It is done before or after Interview, as the case may be. Certificate Verification is meant only for confirming the eligibility of the candidates and it is not the next stage of the selection process.
