TNHB Surveyor / JDO Examination 2017 – TQPB Answers Key: Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) shall release within 03 Days of the Competitive Written Examination scheduled to be conducted on the 17th September 2017 (17.09.2017) for Recruitment to the Posts of Surveyor (19 Vacancies) and Junior Draughting Officer (19 Vacancies).
Tamil Nadu Housing Board will upload on the Official Website the Provisional Answers Key in order of Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D for the Test Question Paper Booklet in Optical Markup Recognition Answer Sheet. The Candidates shall have to submit their Representation contesting the Provisional Answers Key within the Timeline announced by Tamil Nadu Housing Board. The Optical Markup Based Answers Sheet in the form of a Test Question Paper Booklet comprises 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.

TNHB Jr Draughting Officer / Surveyor Competitive Examination 2017 – Expected Cut-Off Marks
Tamil Nadu Housing Board has determined Minimum Qualifying 40 Marks irrespective of Category to be obtained out of 85 Marks apportioned for Competitive Written Examination carrying 100 Marks. The Candidates not securing Minimum Percentile 40 Marks in the Competitive Written Examination shall not be considered for Personal Interview to be conducted post-Announcement of the Result for the Competitive Written Examination.
Selection Criteria:
Final Selection shall be carried out based on the Merit of the Marks (Competitive Written Examination + Interview) and as per Communal Roster. If the Candidates did not attend the Interview, then he / she will not be considered for Selection.
Merit List:
A Merit List shall be prepared based on the Total 100 Marks (i.e., Competitive Written Examination – 85 Marks + Interview – 15 Marks).
In case where more than one Candidate has obtained Equal Marks in the Common Merit List, the Inter-se-Merit among such Candidates shall be determined in order of Date of Birth (i.e., Senior / Elder Candidate will be given Preference).
Procedure for Selection:
FINAL SELECTION TO THE POSTS SHAL BE MADE IN TWO SUCCESSIVE STAGES FOR THE POSTS OF SURVEYOR (19 Nos.), JUNIOR DRAUGHTING OFFICER (19 Nos.), ASSISTANT ENGINEER (25 Nos.), TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (76 Nos.), JUNIOR ASSISTANT (126 Nos.) AND TYPIST (12 Nos.):
