IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I Preliminary Test 2017: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) shall announce the Result for the Online Preliminary Test of the IBPS RRBs (CRP RRBs VI) Examination 2017 only post-release of the Final Answers Key. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection may declare in the 1st Week of October 2017 the Results for IBPS RRBs (CRP RRBs VI) Preliminary Examination 2017 for 80 Marks (scheduled for the 9th, 10th and 16th of September 2017) tentatively concluding on the 16th of September 2017.

The IBPS notified RRBs (CRP RRBs VI) Officer Scale – I Online Preliminary Examination 2017 consists of 02 Parts comprising 80 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions for Equivalent 80 Marks with Deduction of ¼th of the Marks assigned to that Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type.
IBPS RRBs (CRP RRBs VI) Examination 2017:
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, based on the Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks secured by the Candidates in the Preliminary Test will be SHORTLISTED for the Online Main Examination to be conducted on the 5th of November 2017 (05.11.2017). The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will determine the Minimum Qualifying Marks Category-wise for the Candidates in conjunction with Announcement of the Result for the Online Preliminary Examination. Only those Candidates who would have secured the Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks as stipulated by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall only be called for the Main Online Examination for Maximum 200 Marks

| Each Candidate will be required to obtain Minimum Score in each Sectional Test of the Online Main Examination to be considered for Shortlisting for Personal Interview. Depending on the number of the Vacancies available, the adequate number of the Candidates in each Category not exceeding Three Times of the Vacancies declared in each State shall be summoned/called for Personal Interview, subject to availability of thereof. |
| Prior to the completion of Personal Interview Process, the Scores obtained in the Online Main Examination would not be shared with the Candidates shortlisted for Interview. | |
Common Written Examination Score:
The corrected Scores obtained by each of the Candidates in different Sessions (if held) would be normalized using Equi-Percentile Method.
Scores up to two Decimal Points shall be taken for the purpose of Calculation.
FOR THE POSTS OF OFFICERS SCALE – I: THE MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR PERSONAL INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT-LISTING.
IN THE EVENT OF TWO OR MORE CANDIDATES HAVING OBTAINED EQUAL SCORES / MARKS, MERIT ORDER IS DECIDED AS PER THE DATE OF BIRTH (THE CANDIDATE SENIOR IN AGE IS PLACED BEFORE / ABOVE THE CANDIDATE JUNIOR IN AGE), AS PER THE PREVAILING PRACTICE.
Regional Rural Banks (RRBs): (RRBs – Common Written Examination – VI) for Recruitment of Group ‘A’-Officers (Scale – I, II & III) would be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November and December 2017.
Provisional Allotment:
On completion of the Interview Process / Main Examination, depending on the Vacancies to be filled in as per the Business needs of the Regional Rural Banks and as reported to the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, the Candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Regional Rural Banks based on Merit-cum-Preference keeping in view the spirit of the Government Guidelines on Reservation Policy, various Guidelines issued by Government of India / Others from time to time, Administrative Exigency, etc. No change in the Data already registered by the Candidate in the Online Application Form is possible.
