West Bengal State Council Of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development is set to notify the Online counselling for Govt. ITIs and PPP ITIs updates. For providing Admissions to the ITI for the academic year 2017-2018 after the announcement of Entrance Test result is likely to conduct the Online Counseling procedure/ Counseling schedule/ Fee etc updates in due course.

WBSCVT ITI Counseling 2017: After the announcement of Common Entrance Test (CET), 2017 Result for ITI Admissions 2017 West Bengal State Council of Vocational Training & Skill Development will re- notify the Counseling Dates/ Online Choice filling/ Form submission dates/ Fee/ Trades/ Seat Allotment information through notification in due course at the website portal of the Council.

Candidates who have been merit listed for the CET 2017 are shortly through SMS/ website indication to be communicated for ITI Counseling in West Bengal shortly.

Online seat allocation for 2nd counselling for admission in Govt ITI for Sept. 2017 session is published

Earlier News:

Due to some unavoidable circumstances online choice filling and counselling for Govt. ITIs and PPP Govt. ITIs of West bengal will not start from 22nd June 2017. It is postponed untill further notification. The next schedule will be notified soon.

NOTE: ADMISSION IN GOVERNMENT ITIs/ITCs/JP FOR THE SESSION TO BE STARTED FROM AUGUST’2017.

WBSCVT Choice Filling & Online Counseling 2017

The Department of Technical Education & Training, subsequent to receipt of the duly completed Applications Form from the Candidates, shall prepare Merit List and would accordingly declare Counseling Schedule (1^st / 2^nd / 3^rd Round) for Admission into the Courses offered in different Streams mentioned in the Latter Tables.

West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training shall organize in August 2017 Counseling for Admission into the Courses opted / chosen by the Candidates while filling in Application Form and mentioning Choice for Seat Filling for Seat Allotment as per the Seats available.

Choice Filling for counseling process will be held in online basis begins shortly on the wbscvt.net.

Choice filing and online Counseling:

The choice filling for counseling process will be held in online basis dates of which will be notified in the website. After preparation of state wide Merit List, an SMS will be send to the candidate’s mobile number and email id, as provided in the application form containing user ID and password for log in to the counseling portal to participate in the choice filling for online counseling. One Applicant can provide his/her choice of trades and Institutes based on availability of seats in that particular institute. Auto upgradation of seats allocation will be available. Auto up- gradation norms and process will be available in the website.

(III) Pay the Counseling Fees of choice filings for online counseling.

(IV) Lock the Choice by providing his/her choice of trades and Institutes based on availability of seats.

West Bengal ITI Seat Allotment/ Allocation:

After successful completion of the choice filling, based on the rank position and the choice of trades given by the applicant online counseling process will be conducted and seat will be allocated to the Applicant in those Institutes for which he/she has given the choice. The applicant can see his/her allocated seats and take a print out of seat confirmation slip from the website.

Admissions:

On getting trade confirmation slips applicant should report to respective Govt. ITI/ITC/JPs or Govt. ITIs running under PPP mode within stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional allotment letter for provisional admission. All the original certificates and testimonials for entry qualification along-with a set of self-attested copies, Admit card of Common Entrance Examination, Copy of merit rank and seat confirmation slip need to be produced at the time of admission. All necessary fees should be paid mandatorily at the time of admission.
