Punjab Master Cadre Required Qualification for Applying

Required Qualification varies according to the Subject for which teacher required and is as follow:

English:

Should have possessed a valid bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Elective English having studied in each year of graduation.

BEd. with teaching subject of English.

Hindi:

Graduate with Hindi as a subject;

B.Ed with teaching of Hindi in B.Ed.

Maths:

Graduate with Mathematics as one of the elective subject in Graduation.

B.A With Physics and Mathematics A Course with B.T. or B.Ed. or Senior Basic trained

Punjabi:

Graduate from a recognized university with Punjabi as a subject;

B.Ed with teaching of Punjabi in B.Ed.

Science:

Graduate of recognized University with B.T. or B.Ed.;

B.Sc. with B.T. or B.Ed. Senior Basic Trained with any two of the four subject in B.Sc. namely, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

Social Studies:

B.A with subject Combination as approved by Government from time to time with B.T. or B.Ed.

Senior Basic Trained (Including Service of D.P. Ed. and B.P.Ed. as Master/Mistress with at least three years actual teaching experience)

Along with Guidelines of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

Punjab Master Cadre Age Limit for Applying (as on 01/01/2017)
